Any birds about? This is what I call the Fair Isle hello... this is the most familiar greeting on the isle and my most asked question from birdwatchers as they pass my Auld Haa. "Mel" is a common migrant birdwatcher who has been coming to Fair Isle for many years now, far longer than I've lived hear that's for sure.

  1. Nice photo of Mel, love the picture of the blackcap. I could use your eyes for the birds at our feeder. Most I know but there are a couple that are strange. They are going through the seed at a tremendous rate this time of year (autumn)
